Issued on Atlantic Records in 1968, “I Can’t Stop Dancing” is an exuberant, horn-driven soul cut that followed the group’s breakout hit “Tighten Up.”

While its bright energy made it a classic on the dancefloor, it also crossed into hip-hop history when DJ Shadow sampled rhythmic elements from the track for “In/Flux” (1993) — weaving its upbeat funk groove into his signature collage style.
