The Funkadoobian says: Packaging

White label mashup pairing Alan Hawkshaw's "Beat Me Til I'm Blue"—a cornerstone of the KPM Music library's Big Beat catalogue—with the Beastie Boys' seminal "Alive."

This sophisticated remix bridges two distinct eras of production: the orchestral funk foundations of 1970s library music and the sample-driven hip-hop innovation of the 1980s. The result is a layered composition that appeals to both crate diggers and contemporary dance music enthusiasts, combining breakbeat elements with boom-bap sensibilities for maximum dancefloor impact.
