Benny Reid’s instrumental re-imagining of “93 ’Til Infinity” pays homage to Souls of Mischief’s golden-era classic while transforming it into a lush jazz recording built from live instrumentation. Released in collaboration with UMG and Souls of Mischief, it stands as one of the most respectful — and musically ambitious — reinterpretations of a Hip-Hop masterpiece.

Reid replaces the original’s Dust Brothers-style production with warm saxophone leads, upright bass, brushed drums, and rich harmonic textures. The result is cinematic and fluid, revealing the melodic sophistication beneath the original loop. Rather than sampling, Reid rebuilds the track from the ground up, creating a version that feels both timeless and musically elevated.
