1971 - This is the self-titled debut album of Earth, Wind & Fire. At this stage, they were still developing their signature sound, which would later become a blend of funk, soul, disco, and pop. This early album has a stronger jazz and experimental feel, with extended instrumental passages and complex arrangements. Its a fascinating look at the bands origins.
