France Gall was a French pop singer known for her yé-yé style, a French take on 1960s pop. This single features her playful lyrics on the title track which a serious 60s tv theme feel and was rerecorded in both French and English by April March in 1995 with the title Chick Habit for the English version. The English version being used in the 2007 Grindhouse film Death Proof by Quentin Tarantino
