A double-sided slice of rare modern soul from Heaven Sent & Ecstasy, whose sole album, The Greatest Love Story, was originally released in 1980 and has become a holy grail for soul and rare-groove collectors. “I'm A Lady” is the standout dancefloor cut, driven by infectious breaks, funky rhythms and an irresistible groove that has earned it recognition among discerning DJs and collectors. Flip it over for “The Greatest Love Story,” a beautifully mellow soul ballad that reveals the sweeter side of the duo's sound.
Original copies of the album are exceptionally rare, with prices reaching upwards of £500, making it a serious collector's prize. This 7-inch reissue brings both sought-after tracks together in an accessible format, offering a chance to own a piece of rare-soul history without chasing the eye-watering prices of the original LP. An essential double-sider for modern soul DJs, rare-groove enthusiasts and crate diggers looking for music that rewards digging deeper.
