Sampling Legacy: While less looped than his funk staples, snippets of “Regrets” appear in RZA’s production for Ghostface Killah’s “Wildflower,” lending emotional grit to a new-soul context. Its moody orchestration also inspired several neo-soul interpolations in the 2000s.
