Description:
This single captures the vibrant energy of early 1970s funk and boogaloo. “Soul Man” channels a raw, horn-driven groove with a catchy chorus, while “Funky Funky Boogaloo” turns up the heat with syncopated percussion, rolling basslines, and call-and-response vocals. The arrangements showcase the band’s tight musicianship and playful sense of rhythm.

Both tracks have been prized by rare-groove DJs for their high-energy danceability and analog warmth. “Soul Man” in particular has appeared in DJ sets focusing on foundational funk grooves. Original pressings are highly collectible due to their scarcity and vibrant sound, making this single a must-have for funk enthusiasts and DJs alike.
