Description:

Released on Diamond Records in 1963, “Loop De Loop” is a playful, dance-oriented R&B track built around a catchy, circular melody and driving rhythm. Johnny Thunder’s energetic vocal delivery captures the joy and optimism of early-’60s dance singles, complemented by tight backing harmonies and punchy horn accents.

The B-side, “Don’t Be Ashamed,” takes a slower, more introspective turn, with bluesy chord progressions and heartfelt vocal phrasing. Both sides exemplify Thunder’s knack for combining youthful energy with emotive performance, making the single a favorite for collectors of early-’60s pop-soul and novelty R&B dance tracks.
