Description:
Released on TK Records in 1976, “Shake Your Booty” is a quintessential KC & The Sunshine Band disco-funk track. Driven by infectious handclaps, syncopated guitar riffs, and Harry Wayne Casey’s energetic lead vocals, the song epitomizes mid-’70s dance floor groove. The chorus is irresistibly catchy, encouraging audiences to join the communal, celebratory energy of disco nights.

Sampling Note: The track was sampled by NWA in “Dopeman” (1988).
