Description:
This release spotlights Laura Lee’s fierce commanding presence. “Wanted: Lover, No Experience Necessary” opens with steely confidence and a propulsive groove — syncopated rhythm guitar, crisp drumming, and Lee’s bold vocal instructing her listener on terms and boundaries.
On the flip, “Up Tight Good Man” shifts into a melodic, slightly sweeter mode — still tough‑minded, but with smooth horn arrangements, layered backing vocals and a warm groove that shows Lee’s versatility.
This single reveals Lee’s duality: the relentless groove‑leader and the soulful storyteller, both in one package.
