1991 – UK 1st pressing of the Debut album from Massive Attack with original inner-sleeve and still in open shrink with original price sticker on top right of cover.

Starting their musical journey from Bristol, England with The Wild Bunch back in 82, Robert Del Naja, Grant Marshall and Andrew Vowles together with Adrian Thaws aka Tricky formed Massive Attack in 88 and began preparation for this modern day classic.

Considered by some as the first example of what would later be known as the Trip-Hop genre. It was an introduction to something new that touched all the sweet spots of music production with a fresh twist.

Some of the classic samples used in this album are:

Parade Strut by J.J. Johnson and Planetary Citizen by Mahavishnu Orchestra and John McLaughlin on the modern classic  Unfinished Sympathy

Stratus by Billy Cobham and Good Old Music by Funkadelic on Safe From Harm

Sneakin' in the Back by Tom Scott and The L.A. Express and Rock Creek Park by The Blackbyrds on the title track Blue Lines

I'm Glad You're Mine by Al Green and Five Man Army by Dillinger on Five Man Army

Mambo by Wally Badarou on Daydreaming
