The Funkadoobian says: Packaging

A killer double-sider bringing together two heavyweight soul performances. Patti Drew takes on Otis Redding’s Hard To Handle, delivering a punchy, groove-driven version packed with attitude, while Shirley Bassey turns Spinning Wheel into a full-throttle soul workout, driven by dramatic vocals and a powerful brass-led arrangement. Two contrasting takes on late-60s classics, united by dancefloor energy and serious funk appeal. A welcome 7-inch reissue for soul DJs, funk collectors and anyone digging for familiar tunes with a different edge.
