Description:
This father-daughter duet on Stax Records showcases Rufus and Carla Thomas’ natural chemistry, blending R&B grit with a gospel-inspired call-and-response dynamic. The track features the Stax house band in full form, with crisp horn stabs and an infectious shuffle rhythm that perfectly complements their vocal interplay.

Part flirtation, part family banter, “That’s Really Some Good” typifies the playful, soulful duets that were a hallmark of early Stax — soulful, spirited, and full of personality.
