Year Released: 2006 reissue of 50s 60s R&B classics
Genre: R&B
Description: This is a split 45 RPM single.
Ruth Christie - Make The Devil Stop Messin' With Me: a gospel-influenced R&B track. It features powerful, emotive vocals, with a raw, churchy feel, typical of gospel releases that sometimes crossed over into R&B.
Sylvie Vartan - Whirlpool: Sylvie Vartan is a famous French pop singer, particularly prominent in the Yé-yé movement of the 1960s. "Whirlpool" would be an uptempo, catchy pop song, possibly with a rock 'n' roll influence, characteristic of her energetic style. If sung in English, it would be an attempt to appeal to an international market
